TOOK THIRD PLACE PONTIAC AT CARLISLE ALL-GM NATIONALS 2006!!!!!
Mods being done this winter:
- custom amp and sub set-up - removing the rear seats and
creating a show-stopping amp/sub display.
- dynomat the rest of the vehicle including entire floor,
behind all side panels, and roof.
- suspension by eibach - lowering springs, shocks, and anti-
sway bars to drop the ride 2.5 inches all around.
- cold-air ram-air intake to compliment the ram-air hood
- maybe racing seats?? still debating that one because I
haven`t found a comfortable seat that also looks good.
- any other suggestions just let me know
Here are the most recent pics(july `06) with all the latest mods.
list of mods completed spring/summer 2006:
wheels - Tenzo 17' X 8.5'
autometer phantom voltmeter, oil temp and oil press gauges in 3-pod A-pillar
white-face gauge overlay in dash
Optima yellow-top battery
Alteza-style clear tail lights
Extreme dynomat on entire trunk, lid, rear floor and doors
re-painted calipers
painted engine bay and wheel wells
complete wet-sand/buff of entire exterior
Windshield banner on front and back
The sun made it hard to see this pic.
The dynomat made a big difference in the clarity of the music. I layed mine myself, and would recomend anyone to do it themselves. It does take patience and a little time to do a good job, but it is well worth the investment.
Yes I did the entire trunk as well as the trunk lid, the entire rear floor and the inside door skins. When I have it over 140 db there is a little rattle underneath and the body does still flex, but nothing like it did before the dynomat.
It`s not that obvious when it`s dirty like this but the paint is just like glass after the wetsand and buff.
Leave any comments/suggestions about the ride.
